Reno Stone Sculpture

This unique and beautiful sculpture is amazing. Having grown up in this area and lived here all my life I never knew what or who did this piece and where it came from. I love that you can see the downtown skyline and surrounded by the I-80 interstate, UNR that happens to be in a residential area.

The artist Chris Atcheson has several sculptures in the Reno area one of his most famous here in Reno is at the Pioneer Theater of Jesse Reno.

This piece is sculptured out of granite and is two separate pieces that have the eye on Reno. What a remarkable view and a unique concept. Smooth and clean on the inside and rough and natural on the outside.
